Against a backdrop of immense worldwide demand for resources, with an ever-increasing environmental and human cost that so often burdens indigenous and Native people the most, it is imperative that front-line leaders have access to crucial technical support in order to maximize the efficacy and reach of their environmental justice campaigns.

Women's Earth Alliance's work in North America links indigenous environmental justice campaigns with a network of skilled advocacy professionals, making available advocacy services such as support for ongoing litigation, policy advocacy, and organizational development consulting. Through powerful experiential learning and dialogue opportunities, advocates and grassroots leaders forge personal connections with one another that form the basis for effective long-term collaboration. "The wisdom of the world is always with us. That it has been ignored by governments, business and religions is evident in every sphere of human endeavor. The world needs leadership in the fundamental and truest sense of the word, and the guidance we need surrounds us. With humility and prayer I believe that it is time for all of us to seek the intelligence and heart of women-WEA is doing this precious work. Humanity does not have much more time and we need to listen."
